another month, a bit better than the last. a bit fuller, a bit better, full of better things than er visits, and Dr appointments, migraines that NEVER end, and chest pains and all the rest.
we've had a run of allergies, and learning that you can be allergic to mosquito's and even to histamine, yes, that stuff your very own body creates to protect you from the allergy you came in contact with. Two of us, are very allergic we have learned. We learned in the last few months, that you can have a migraine last about, almost ( we lost count) 40 days, and never stop, let up, or cease. Yes, they are acute migraines, very rare... hmmm.
"No it's not a Tumor", in the words of Terminator turned Kindergarten teacher. Or so they tell me :)
Now the headaches come and go, lasting two days to 5 or 6 days. It's a bit like living on the edge of a razor, you walk softly, move slowly, but you have to keep going, you can't stay too long in one place or you might fall asleep at the wheel and WHACK!
Rob's issues are mending, we are seeing much improvements, but major changes have occurred, like he's lost well over 25 lbs, and our menu has had to alter quite a bit to accommodate him.
But for us Summer has just begun!
Our pool liner ripped and we lost all the water while in Boston over the winter. So as of the happy 4th of July weekend, a new and improved one was installed, and water is pouring in as I type. Soon, we shall swim!
Also we went to Florida! Pictures to come as soon as I download! : ) We went for two weeks, and my parents joined us, it was nice to do this, as opportunities to do so are often rare. dolphins were seen, shells collected, swimming done, and as always the Gulf of Mexico was lovely!

So where is God in all of this you might wonder? Why has He allowed the pain? The suffering? Why such plights, such difficulties?
He is HERE. When God is this present, frankly blogging for me, can be hard. He is HERE, very real in every trouble, never leaving, never forsaking. Growing, molding, shaping, refining us more and more into the likeness of Christ. He is awesome, amazing, our sustainer, food, and nourishment, bread of life, living water, rest for our weariness, strength for tomorrow, Bright Hope, Comforter, Teacher, Light at the end of the tunnel, Light along the way, Healer, Hope, Help, Promise of forgiveness, Redeemer, Restorer, He is the great I AM, the great Shepherd of the Sheep, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, Prince of peace, Blood of the covenant, He is my, our all in all.
and us?
Oh, we fall, we fail, we struggle, and He picks us up. Dusts us off, reminds us of the promises, and does all that He does. Great is His faithfulness, there is no shadow or turning in Him.
