The Good, The bad, & the Ugly

adventures...
life IS one..
in case you hadn't noticed
whether you are jet setting across the globe
or taking an RV across your continent.
Whether you are walking
bike riding
or just trying to make through today.
it's a real adventure.
It loves to NOT stay the same.
the saying
the only thing that stays the same is change
really IS true..
we can either embrace it
or panic
or stick our feet in the mud and pout
and stomp our feet

Regardless, God is sovereign over it all.
He orchestrates these adventures
choreographs these "changes"
it's providence.
He isn't a puppeteer
we aren't puppets
I won't even attempt to teach a deep theological truth with some
pat easy answers...
no...
I just don't think that would honor God
or you
or this blog.

But i will tell ya this.
Our family is on an amazing adventure.
We aren't jet setting to Europe again.
Or road tripping across the country again.
It's purely a spiritual, emotional, physical journey.
It has highs
It has lows
It has moments when we just shake our head
and moments when our heads fall back in laughter
It brings us to our knees
leaving us in prayer
for hours
humbles us
keeps us honest
It is a terrifying adventure
TOO exciting to even describe for fear of being accused of  FALSE
FAKE 
Unreal
Impossible
but...
then
the Truth is stranger than fiction isn't it
and our God is God of the impossible
some of these things we go through are ...
well. details that our readers MAY not be so interested in
things like
whose on what meds
how that is going
whose got what side effect and
how we are handling that
so we aren't gonna post all THAT jazz here...
It's not ADVENTURE worthy...
it's just not what THIS blog is all about..
This blog is what it is, and
we have NO intention of changing it...
will we pretend we are healthy wealthy and wise..
no..
no pretense here
but those details
ya'll don't need those...
so those will be elsewhere
if you need those
let me know

other wise be sure this blog will just be more of us
