What is one to do after a really terrible day? Well, Rob's thoughts were to get some good eatin's : ) We thought about eating at the Olive Garden, but in the end, we just had to go back to Kennedy's... It is off of Route 85, and right in town. Sheila is our usual waitress, but last night we had a different gal. They gave us our "usual" table, minues the one they often have to add to extend it for our frequently large groups. Last night it was just us. A bit down trodden after Papa's defeat at work. The mood was friendly, a "everyone knows everyone" sort of place, and we felt welcomed, for the took one look at us, all alone for a change and had our table ready (no reservations made) in a jiffy. We left after some fun banter about folks we all know. Isn't that a bit odd? Well, it was nice. We strolled back into the hotel, tired, but filled up, a bit more rested and ready to attack the world again... It is neet to me to see how our Lord works through people. He knew we needed to have our faces known and welcomed, our souls longed for some good "not so restauranty" food, and a hearty friendly atmosphere.... Yet we thought "OLIVE GARDEN". When that was thwarted, He laid the one restaurant that would hit the spot... The only restaurant to hit the spot..... From the first time here to today..... Our favorite loud but fancy place to be.... Kennedy's.... go if you are ever in town! And enjoy!
