Piano Recital

On Friday April 28, 2006 Kiah and Cole performed in a piano recital, held by their teacher Mrs. Carlovsky ! It was delightful ! Mrs. Carlovsky did such a lovely job putting this event together, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Her students did beautifully.
Kiah performed
Joyful, Joyful We adore Thee....Ludwig van Beethoven
as well as Indian Drums.....James Bastien
Cole performed
Space Walk...Wesley Schaum
and Amazing Grace...Carrell & Clayton
They each received an Award, and a flower. Their were light refreshments after and we had a delightful time chatting with Mrs. Temple who was also present to see her son Garrett perform. Garrett did a lovely performance of Hiawatha, and This is the Day.
Afterwards we took Cole, Kiah, Ben, Oma and Opa out to celebrate at Govenor's Place! For dessert Opa and Oma treated us all to Ice Cream at Oberweis.
They worked so very hard for so long, I don't know if I could have been more pleased with them, and for them, in regards to both their attitudes as well as performance. Excellent ! Really doing all things joyfully as unto the Lord. What a blessing to reward their hard work with a night out with Mom and Dad, and Oma and Opa. Ben did well too! He threw no tantrums, did not talk LOUD and was quite well behaved! YEAH Kiddos! Pictures to follow as soon as I can download. YOU are LOVED!
