more from Saturday's trip to concord!

a very lovely house in Concord.

On Saturday, as you may have noticed we went to the very historic town of Concord. Yes you know it. Remember the battle? The battle of Concord and Lexington? That is the same Concord!
It is a nice town, we are not very far from it. We come a whole lot, here are some highlights of it! We went to the town's museum, but they WOULD NOT allow photography. Now I don't know about you, but I would hardly call my snapshots "photography" but they lady would NOT hear of it anyway. :( So we learned all about Concord and now we know.
Concord is also famed for having some pretty famous authors live here. They all lived here at the same time too. Emerson, Alcott, Thoroeau, Hawthorne. These folks were Transendentalists. We are not fond of their world view. But boy could that Louisa May spin a tale! And who can say anything against the Scarlett letter?

Don't you just LOVE historic towns? I love to go to historic Woodstock Square...they have brick streets and so many cute little shops!
Fun!
