Create your own visited map of The United States

These are the states we've BEEN to as a family... either we've stayed in them, or we've driving straight through them, sleeping in a hotel, stopping off somewhere to eat...
I thought it was neat...  A couple years ago we read a great book
A Walk Across America
by Peter Jenkins

we highly recommed it... This book is the real life account of a walk Peter took some years back... It is captivating, and an adventure they will be sure to NEVER forget...
Our blessings have always enjoyed being Adventurers! Going on our own "road trips" our "adventures"... exploring what EVER needs to be explored...
we don't have a movie machine in our car, and yes, we've driven all the way to California  and back :)
But walk across America...we haven't done.. The drive to California from Chicago we did when the kids were younger, before Buddy blessed us with his presence, and it was a wonderful adventure... They SAW the United States, met people... but the book, it made us think, how neat it would be to do it with out the rush..
Americans aren't all that the media likes to make them out to be..
They are we have found, quite warm, welcoming, generous, and kind...
We like our people, for all their flaws, they are a great people...
Not unlike the French we met, or the Germans, or the Dane's... or the Russians.. Algerians, Pakistani, Indians, South Africans, Senegalese....
People are ... people...
Ultimately we like people...
and that is what is so interesting about the United States of America..
It is a land of it's own, yet filled with persons from all over the globe...
Who've rooted themselves here...
A walk across America.. well, I'd rather not do the walking, but a slow drive, a mOsey... could be neat..
Some day
now... to see where we've been collectively in the world!
So there you have it, a book review and a cool map! :)
