Autopsy report please....

Princess Ki cracks me up! We are reading through the Bible in a year, and enjoying it very much. The program that we are using this year is a bit more family friendly than some we have used in the past, it was recommended to us by Saralyn :) Thanks Sara! Anyway, with the illness we had in the house, we fell a bit behind in our read aloud portion and so this week, we are reading a bit more during our OUT LOUD time each day to catch up :)
Well, every few chapters of Genesis, someone dies, and Princess, needs to know HOW. It isn't enough that they breathed their last, she neeeds to know WHY, HOW and all that jazz... it is rather endearing. Not enough that they are living to 175 years or 137 years or longer, just WHY did he or she die? What happened, why then? What do you think caused it? Was there suffering?
I think she'd like a full autopsy report actually... really I do. Clearly it is too vague, she'd like more details... like in the new testament when we read Matthew, at least they tell you that nasty guy got worms and died.... so wonderfully detailed... but then again... what kind of worms? Come to think of it, she did have the encyclopedia and the medical book out that day!!!
Things one thinks about when one loves blood and guts.....

Your princess sure is a character! I personally hate blood and guts... but I suppose the world needs girls who do just as much as it needs girls who don't! :-)
Does she still want to be a midwife?

Blessings to you all, it was great to run into you at the store (btw, we got the coats, did Ki?) :-).

She did not get the coat, but only because she could have gone swimming in it.. she really is fairly small for her age... :) She is still undecided on the midwife bit... Something medical... She ponders if she becoming a MD too, as the gals in the middle east can't get medical treatment at all from a man, and die of simple things, she thinks that she will surely KNOW before then what direction to go, and so is just choosing to focus all her studies on the healing arts. She told me since God gave her the passion, He can just figure out how to use it, and she'll just do the learning... I think she is pretty cool ;)
