Flats....

no, not heels or flats, but rather, apartments/condo's in France... a.k.a. FLATs :) It looks as though we have found one for our impending stay.... While this is exciting, it is also strange, and scary, to wonder,
Is it really as nice as all these pictures???
What DIDN'T they take a photo of.....
What IS the neighborhood like?
What are the NEIGHBORS like?

But the pictures, well they look lovely! and I HAVE done this before, this picking a place on line to stay and booking it.... Mostly it works out, but sometimes there is a hole in a ceiling with mold growing, which isn't so super for allergy ridden folks...But that doesn't happen too often... RIGHT???
Yes, this Flat is 3 bedrooms, with a terrace overlooking Medieval Lyon, the Historic district... A terrace is different than a balcony, it is BIG, with room to play, and eat dinner on... The kitchen is small, but most of the kitchens there are small, there is a separate dining room, and a little TV loft...It looks clean, and IKEA decorated ...
Oh that when they book it tomorrow, no one else nabs it...
and that it is even nicer than those photos! With KIND neighbors, who like children/and do not HATE Americans....and a neighborhood that is safe & within walking distance to a park for play, and interesting things to see and do....
