have you ever just looked at the people that dwell in your home and thought... thank you Jesus! I have been doing that a whole lot lately.... really enjoying each one.. :) They are such a joy! And home education, while it is such a challenge, it is also such an intimate blessing... I am afforded by God the opportunity to learn each of my children so well. It really is up to me to simply learn them...
Learn HOW they learn, and how they do not. Learn what helps them learn, and what it is that hinders learning... Learn what opens up their heart, and what it is that closes it, learn what stifles, and what makes their souls sing...
its all their for me to learn....
so rich is the field, to pick from, so limited is the time... Edith Schaeffer said something like this..
that there really is only 60 seconds in a minute and only 60 minutes in an hour and only 24 hours in a day and only 7 days in a week and only about 52 weeks in a year and really never enough years in a lifetime... they are gone, just like that....
and there is that song... I think Chris Rice wrote it... how we are all given the same ... 24 hours in a day, whatcha gonna do with them?...
i feel like i wish I could stretch the hours and minutes and moments, they are like bits of sand slipping through my fingers these beautiful children of mine... growing by leaps and by bounds, so beautiful each of them... so different from one another, so unique....

We had a whole lot of health crisis's in the last year, so this new year we thought it wise to continue to be proactive about our healing, and add to the immunotherapy program, (now that things have calmed down) a chiropracter to our regime... He is good, and also certified in pediatric chiropractic, and I am very thankful for the Lord for leading us. The doctor is no Magic quick fix Quack, but simple and wise, and kind, and willing to listen, and work with, and we are seeing results.... :) a nice addition to our more proactive approach ...

since Christmas we have also had sad news ... our wonderful Oma has found out she has cancer... this is very hard on us all, but Oma, is a fighter, and has already begun agressive chemo treatment, and soon there will be radiation... We are praying for her every day! So thankful that she loves us enough to go through this for us.... what an honor, what a blessing! We love you Oma!!!

So I havn't been blogging... because I have been so busy, loving these people, observing them, serving them, learning them, and just well.... loving them... only 24 hours in a day... and some days... there just hasn't been time to be here...

Still love ya, thankful for those of you who have emailed, wondering.... :) I will try to be more "once a week" ish...
France is in the next few months, and then I will be VERY regimented ... For now though.... we are simply doing life, living it, and trying to huddle together and heal... Papa is working lots of hours, and we are thankful he has a job, thankful for the overtime, thankful for the opportunity to love him in this trial... as hard as it is. We love him and miss him, and plain old ENJOY being with him :) He is a fun Papa, a wonderful husband, a great friend, and I know this season of extra labor is hard on him, all the more reason, for me to hunker down and enjoy the children, they need that extra love...
and i have GOT to tell you
they are easy to love, they are soooo loveable :)
kiss your kids, your husbands... love those who dwell with you....
God has given them to you ...... but for a season... just a season....
