Glace..... aka Ice Cream

Here we are at one of the many, and I do mean MANY local Glaceriers

or as you might call them back in the States...

Ice Cream shops

There is much discussion as to who has MORE flavors... We have decided that Europeans have more flavors

and Americans

add more candy to Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, and Mint

to come up with some pretty fun variations

but....

actual flavors...

there are more here....

pistachio, coconut, black currant, black raspberry, raspberry, strawberry, rose, lavender, chocolate, cappuccino, vanilla (but this is so different than ours) lime, lemon, actually I don't even KNOW all the flavors...I should do more research and post again...

The flavors are incredible. We have to say, they are simply
BETTER than ANY thing we have had
ANY place in all of the USA
however
they do give you more in the USA
everything in the USA is bigger...
well, not the cones,
the cones here are huge
which silly for them
amplifies how small their scoop size is..
What are the French thinking??

The children love to go out for Glace

it is a fun thing to do!

It is rather nice to sit a silly table and people watch,

hear the cars

listen to the city sounds

and just

taste the delicious taste of good true flavors

what he THOUGHT was cocoa

was coconut! (yummy!)

Buddy needs NO convincing to FINISH anything...

You see he is allergic to all ice cream made in America

yet here in France he is Free to eat

then one day, we went to a restaurant and he had

Ben & Jerry's

and Buddy got sick..

(American Ice Cream..)

so now.. we stick to Glace! :)

He LOVES It!!!
