we are not sure what nut...
or what legume it may be...
we already KNOW the princess can NOT tolerate
the soy nut in nearly any way
except mild fermentation..
so except when it "happens" to be in a chinese dish,
or we use a little LITE soy for flavor
we avoid anything with soy at our house..
In FACT we think Soy SUCKS...
we do..
do you think that is harsh?
well... perhaps
for more on soy
READ THIS it's an easy summary of dozens of books I've read on
Soy..
and the nutshell version of why We think
Soy SUCKS
just our opinion...
We are not sure about Buddy's actual tolerance for it however...
First going anaphylactic
in France
and then another "swollen mouth episode" with some potato chips
that were made in a factory
where tree nuts, peanuts and yada yada were processed...
then New Years and THAT whole drama...
We can blame blueberry's
because that's sure the COLOR of everything that came up..
but he did eat 2 or 3 potato chips
and I don't know....
where THEY were processed...
and he's been scared to each chips
ever since..
asking for popcorn
or tortillas
or cookies
instead...
hmmm..
so that said..
WE do not eat PB& J anymore..
we have SWITCHED
to SunflowerSeed butter...
We get ours at Trader Joes.
Anything with the Trader Joe lable
is guaranteed to be A GMO free food
and THAT is important to this family ! :)
I would have switched to Almond butter
but..
it's a nut..
We are nervous about the nuts and Buddy right now...
and an almond is a nut
not a seed...
so.. Sunflower Seed butter it is..
We've had it before,
and enjoyed it before,
but as ONE option of many,
it is NOW the standard..
and thus far...
everyone is happy!
SunflowerSeed butter with Jam is delicous!
I don't have mine with Jam,
i have mine with celery :)
Allergies and Crazy diets ...
A world of new experiences :)
