Hi, I am FIVE

So we enter TGIF  better known as FRIDAY's
the "restaurant'
for Buddy's Birthday Dinner :)
and He proudly
and LOUDLY announced to the hostess that HE is indeed 5 today...
When the greeter who seats us shows up..
He asks her, if she has heard?
That HE is 5 years old?
TODAY?
That YEP, that's the good news! 
Today! Is Buddy's Birthday!
Isn't SHE honored HE chose Friday's to Celebrate this IMPORTANT  day in HIS life?
and so the night went...
with each beautiful new person we met...
each was taken aback..
giggling or smiling...
offering a birthday greeting..
and with EACH,
Buddy flirted endlessly...
age and appearance DID not matter...
The fact that our waitress was middle aged, and QUITE older than me
mattered NOT to him...
He told her often HOW helpful she was...
HOW wonderful she was to remember that HE ordered
LEMONADE on HIS Birthday!
and then proceeded to say THANK you... very Loudly..

this is how the evening went..
all the way to when they all say..
when they announced that "their friend Ben was having a birthday"
to the whole restaurant...
you rather had a feeling....
that this time...
perhaps...
it was beginning to have a ring of truth...
because so many faces were beaming ...
having been splattered already with his charm
his compliments...
his little 5 year old flirtations..
and he grinned...
all his pearly whites shinning by the light of the candle...
soooo happy was he...
these NEW friends were singing to him..
they were happy for him..
they all knew, NOW that he was allergic to dairy,
for he had informed them,
and there was NO icecream on HIS fancy brownie cake..
HOW thoughtful..
He beamed..
When they were done
He shouted his thanks
and said they were the BEST!
So KIND, so thoughtful!

What a guy!

Wow!
Gosh I love him!
I woke up to my bounding 5 year old
smothering me with kisses, telling me he loves me :)
:) glad that didn't change...
